Dinos and Dancing!

Yesterday I found out where I will be interviewing for my internship. I have an interview on Tuesday with Professional Beauty Magazine. Its a magazine that caters to the needs of salons and spas.  Bouyana, the girl who set up the internship, said that it is 80% writing and editing and that there is no other program with interns for me to compete against. So I would really have to screw it up to not get the position. Also, one of my flat mates, Shandi, will be interviewing there too to work with me! I am glad I got an oyster card because the building I will be working in is about a 45 minute tube ride away! Yikes! So I am really excited and I will let everyone know how it goes.

Later that afternoon, my flat mates and I journeyed down Cromwell to visit the Natural History Museum! It was awesome and exhausting. That places is huge! I took plenty of pictures with the dinos and usually revealed my knowledge of dinosaurs to everyone by referencing the characters in land before time... "Hey, there is Sarah! The triceratops!" etc. We grabbed lunch at a little cafe and then took the tube home.

After lounging for a while, we all decided to go to the Zoo Bar in Leicester Square. We made reservations so we could get on the guest list (impressive I know!) and wouldn't have to pay cover or stand in line. We took the tube there and it was so much fun! We danced all night and met tons of cute foreign boys, also tons of not so cute and very creepy foreign boys. By 2:00 am, our feet were killing us and we decided to head home. Well, trouble is that the tube closes at midnight, none of us had any money for a cab and we had no idea where a bus stop was! Needless to say, we figured it out and got home safely. Then we had to get up early this morning for our first 3 hour class... yuck.... it was not fun!

Now our flat is resting until our next big adventure this evening. Expected plans: we are thinking of going to Primrose Hill to see a spectacular view of the city... sigh... I love London.
